Painting of Delft

The painting of Delft finished! The painting shows the corner Voldersgracht/Market. With a lot of pleasureI I worked on this painting. It is a combination of modern life with beautiful old buildings. It took me almost two months to finalize the painting. It reflects a beautiful streetscene in the City of Delft, NL. The painting was made with oil paint (Oud Holland) on Belgian linen and it measures 60 x 90 cm. I like this size, while the paint is drying in one corner, I continue painting in another corner. At the moment it is drying and after a few weeks, I will add a retouch varnis. Than it is totally finished.
